Pengaruh Struktur Aktiva Dan Profitabilitas Terhadap Struktur Modal Dan Dampaknya Terhadap Nilai Perusahaan

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of assets structure and profitability on capital structure and the impact to the firm’s value of property, realestate, infrastructure, utility, and transportation companies that are listed in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the period of 2011 to 2015. Purposive sampling is used as sampling technique, which results 40 companies from population. The result shows that assets structure is measured by fixed assets to total assets ratio does not have influence on capital structure, profitability is measured by return on assets (ROA) has negative influence on capital structure, and capital structure is measured by debt to total assets ratio has positive influence on firm’s value. In this research firm’s value is measured by Tobin’s Q approach.
