ANALISIS PENGARUH PRAKTEK-PRAKTEK TQM TERHADAP DAYA SAING DAN KINERJA (Studi pada PT. Madubaru PG PS Madukismo Bantul Yogyakarta)

Abstract

An increasingly competitive business requires employers or businesses to implement the right business strategy in facing the increasingly competitive business environment, which is indicated by a continuous innovation process and a high level of change in consumer tastes. Furthermore, in order for companies to be able to compete and have good corporate performance, they can be supported by implementing Total Quality Management. Respondents of this study were employees of PT Madubaru PG PS Madukismo Bantul Yogyakarta. The number of samples in this study were 50 respondents. The data analysis method used in this study were: 1) analysis of respondents' characteristics, 2) descriptive analysis, and 3) quantitative analysis using regression analysis and path analysis, and all of these analyzes were completed using the SPSS 21.0 program. The results of this study indicate that the total quality management has a significant and positive effect on performance, the total quality management has a significant and positive effect on competitiveness, competitiveness has a significant and positive effect on performance, and competitiveness can mediate the effect of total quality management on performance at PT. Madubaru PG PS Madukismo Bantul Yogyakarta.
