This study examines employee commitment in the Non-Industrial Licensing Directorate at the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) by exploring factors that shape sense of purpose, perceived organizational support, and opportunities for professional growth. Employee commitment was found to be influenced by a combination of meaningful work, a supportive organizational environment, and equitable distribution of responsibilities. Employees reported gaining motivation and loyalty from their daily experiences and recognition for their contributions. However, the findings also highlighted critical challenges, such as unclear policies, inadequate recognition systems, and concerns about the transparency and fairness of promotion mechanisms. While training and development programs positively contribute to improving skills and job performance, these efforts are often undermined by perceptions of bias in the career advancement process. The study underscores the importance of addressing these barriers to maximize employee potential and foster greater organizational commitment. Recommendations include improving policy clarity, implementing transparent recognition and promotion systems, and strengthening organizational efforts to align professional development opportunities with employee needs. In addition, employees are encouraged to actively engage in development programs and communicate their concerns effectively to ensure their voices are heard. By addressing these areas, organizations can develop a more committed, engaged, and high-performing workforce, thereby driving their long-term success and sustainability.en_US
