| dc.description.abstract | Bamboo is a widely used material in many industries due to its versatility, strength, and sustainability. Fishpole bamboo, in particular, is a popular choice for various applications, including furniture, handicrafts, and construction. PT Dekorasia is the decoration manufacturing company that makes the product using fishpole bamboo as well. However, the process of perforating bamboo poles for these applications is time-consuming and laborintensive, leading to high production costs and low productivity. In this study, a fishpole bamboo perforation machine was developed using the quality function deployment (QFD) methodology. The machine's requirements are defined by considering various parameters, such as progressive, durable, safe, ease of use, compact, and low cost. The results showed that the product is developed with characteristic specifications and parts based on the customer's requirements. In conclusion, the machine's design ensures that customer needs are met while optimizing performance. | en_US |
