Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the extent to which the issue of divorce on social media affects teenagers' worries about getting married. The following are the goals this study aims to accomplish examining how premarital teens' views on marriage are impacted by the divorce of well-known individuals on social media. The research methodology used is field research, which used quantitative methods, using simple linear regression analysis. The R Square value, as determined by the results of the simple linear regression test, is 0.151. This number indicates that there was a 15.1% impact of the Public Figure Divorce Issue on Social Media (X) on Pre-Marital Adolescents' Worries Toward Marriage (Y). According to this study, there is a strong and direct link between teenage marriage fear and how famous figures' divorces are portrayed on social media. According to this study, negative opinions about marriage may be influenced by the widely reported and frequently dramatic nature of divorce.
