Abstract

Economic development in a country cannot be separated from the development of the financial sector. The financial sector has an important role in increasing a country's economic growth because it can spur economic activity and stimulate economic growth. therefore, this study aims to find out the impact of the “influence of the financial sector on economic growth in Indonesia”. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis using the time series method. The time series method is a forecasting method using an analysis of the pattern of relationships between the variables to be estimated and the variable time. The type of data used in this study is secondary time series data consisting of the dependent variable and independent variables with a semi-annual database for the period 2007 Q1-2021 Q4. The data source used in this study comes from BANK INDONESIA, Indonesia's financial statistics. This study found the effect of the impact of the financial sector on economic growth in Indonesia, the money supply, investment, credit, capital markets, have a significant influence on Indonesia's economic growth.
