Communication between parents and children with special needs (autism) is divided into verbal and non-verbal communication. Verbal communication involves language, both spoken and written, while non-verbal communication uses body language, such as eye contact, facial expressions, and gestures. Both types of communication are very important for building relationships and understanding the unique communication patterns of autistic children. Factors such as physical and psychological conditions, routine care, and the presence of siblings can affect communication. Communication with autistic children is very different from normal children, because they may have difficulty understanding the communicator's intentions. Phenomenology in research on the meaning of children with special needs helps develop a more personal and humanistic approach. This means understanding that each child, despite having special needs, is still unique in terms of how they express themselves, respond to support, and interact with the world around them. This understanding helps create educational programs and support strategies that are more individual and tailored to their specific needs. Creating a calm and supportive environment for children with special needs is essential for their overall health and development.en_US
