Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Audit Delay pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2013-2016

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, opini auditor, dan reputasi auditor terhadap audit delay pada perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Pemilihan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 89 perusahaan selama periode tahun 2013-2016. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ukuran perusahaan dan profitabilitas berpengaruh terhadap audit delay, sedangkan opini auditor dan reputasi auditor tidak berpengaruh terhadap audit delay.

This study aimed to examine the effect of size of the company, profitability, auditor’s opinion, and the reputation of public accountant firms to audit delay at manufacturing companies registered in Indonesian stock exchange. The selection of the sample used in this study is purposive sampling with a sample size of 89 companies acquired during the period 2013-2016. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study can be concluded that the size of the company and profitability affect audit delay. Meanwhile, the auditor’s opinion and the reputasion of public accountant firms have not affect the audit delay.
