Abstract
The high-rise building construction consists of the upper structure and the lower structure. The upper structure consists of beams, floor plates and also columns, while for the bottom structure is foundation. In the construction of high-level buildings will be found floor plates, There are two methods of floor plate construction, conventional moulding and precast. The precast floor plates that compared in this research are flyslab type floor plates from PT. Kinarya Beton Salatiga. The purpose of this study is 'to know the comparisons' cost incurred and the time required on the floor work.
This study uses two different methods. The first research is the conventional method that all the floor plate work began to install the steel reinforcement until the foundry is done at the project site while the precast method is the method of floor plate work that has been made at the factory and only need the means of transportation to bring the precast floor plate to the project site.
The test results show that using flyslab precast accepting larger moments than conventional floor plates is due to higher concrete quality and more controlled production process in the factory. While in terms of cost, flyslab preparing can reduce the cost of Rp.354.323.126,09 or savings of 7.8% of the total value of the implementation of floor plate work with conventional methods, as well as saving the execution time of the work with flyslab precast method between using conventional methods and flyslab prep is 66 working days.
