Abstract

The Klangon-Tempel road section is one of the rural collector roads which is used as an alternative road which is one of the links between Bantul and Sleman districts. The road was rehabilitated and reconstructed in 2017 using the 2013 Bina Marga Method. According to Hakim (2018), the use of the 2013 Bina Marga method for the existing pavement was allegedly giving the result that the thickness was too thin so it was estimated that it would not reach the design life. This study aims to evaluate the thickness of the existing pavement to estimate the damage that occurred and the remaining service life of the road. In this study only used secondary data. Secondary data was obtained from the DPUPESDM of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. In this study, the pavement thickness was evaluated using a mechanistic-empirical method approach, namely the KENPAVE program with linear elastic and viscoelastic modeling. The results of the analysis using the Kenpave program are used to determine the repetition load and the remaining service life of the road in each modeling. After analyzing the KENPAVE program with linear and viscoelastic elastic modeling using the existing pavement thickness of AC-WC 40 mm, AC-BC 60 mm, AC-Base 75 mm, Upper Foundation Layer 200 mm and Lower Foundation Layer 300 mm, the stress response to load repetition was obtained. axle of 126,338,768.17 ESAL until permanent deformation occurs with linear elastic modeling and 75,932,614,373 ESAL until permanent deformation occurs with viscoelastic modeling. From the repetition of the axle load, the service life of the existing flexible pavement with a linear elastic approach is 101 years and with a viscoelastic approach for 94 years, while assuming traffic growth of 5%, the service life for linear elastic is 78 years and for viscoelastic for 73 years. year. Based on these results, it shows that the existing pavement is still able to accommodate traffic loads well during the planned life of 20 years in both linear elastic and viscoelastic modeling.
