Abstract

Education is one of the important keys in determining the future of a nation. Deaf children as children born with special needs basically have the same opportunities as normal children in general, including in a learning of Tahfidz Al-Qur'an. If normal children are able to memorize the Qur'an until the final stage of 30 juz so that people with disabilitie. They have the right to learn basic education and learning Islam as their religion. Population growth of deaf people in Yogyakarta got rapid growth increased. The data from 2011 to 2016 state only 57 SLB still function in Yogyakarta. It might the need for education place for special people should be increased. At the same time, many SLB only provides minimum facilities. A lot of problems may be caused by the defective buildings, especially for the deaf. The application of Visual Aspects is expected to be able to provide an environment comfortable and safe and maximize the learning process of the deaf people.
