Sekar Niti’s Eco-tourism Facilities Penerapan Arsitektur Semi Permanen Berbasis Material Lokal untuk Menjaga Kualitas Lingkungan

Abstract

Kampong Sekar Niti is one of the tourist villages in Yogyakata. Rusjono’s said (Sekar Niti Village Management Board) Kampong Sekar Niti is not really worthy of being said as a tourism village because the tourism facilities are not well supported for the for tourists. In addition, many of the cultural potentials in Sekar Niti have begun to vacuum / vanish due to lack of human resources and the willingness of the community to participate in the stewardship of Kampung wisata. After conducting interviews and discussions with several prominent villagers of Sekar Niti, they have few goals and hopes to develop their village. Winongo River has a great potential that it can be used as a tourist area because there is a vacant lot that can be utilized for the development needs of Sekar Niti tourism village. The authors propose to design the riverfront on winongo, Kampung Sekar Niti tour as Ecotourism facilities to develop Sekar Niti village as a tourist village still maintain the quality of river banks. So the design of this ecotourism facility to apply semi-permanent buildings and local materials-based design. The design approach which it chosen in this final project is Place-Making Method, Place-Making is a concept that transforms Space into a more meaningful / quality Place. The authors wish the design of this ecotourism facility in Sekar Niti can be a form of architecture that can generate Sekar Niti tourist village as a tourist village, attract tourists, improving the local economy, and improve the quality of the environment.
